Q> Tax reduction, Tax deduction or Tax credit ?

 

A> A tax reduction is an amount subtracted from the amount of tax (for example: the tax reduction for donations to organizations of general interest).

A tax deduction occurs before the tax is calculated. It corresponds to a right to decrease the overall income that you declare, such as the reduction of actual costs.

A tax credit is an amount also subtracted from the amount of tax (for example: the tax credit for childcare expenses) and allows him to benefit from a refund from the taxman.

Q> What are the changes implied by the source deduction in application since January 1, 2019 and how does it work ?

 

A> The withholding tax changes absolutely nothing for the donors, all the tax reductions are maintained. Donations made to ALEDD during 2020 will be taken into account when the income tax return is made in spring 2021.

 

From now on, the tax will be deducted directly from the income of taxable taxpayers.

Q> How can I donate if I don't want to pay online with my bank card ?

 

R> You can make the payment of your donation by choosing PayPal if you have an account or simply by sending us a check payable to "Helping Children Of Diaglé ".

 

 

 

Q> How do I get a form to send a donation by mail ?

 

R> just choose the republic "Documentation" on our "Resources" page of the site and download the form (also available directly HERE )

 

 

 

Q> How do I donate by bank transfer ?

 

A> It's very simple, just make a transfer request (unit or monthly) using the Bank Identity Statement from our account in France. Note that you will be asked to complete the IBAN number and / or the BIC / SWIFT number.

 

 

 

Q> Do I have to send my tax receipt when I declare ?

 

A> It is no longer necessary to send your tax receipt. Keep it in the event of a tax administration check.

 

 

 

Q> I am not taxable this year, is my deduction lost ?

 

R> The tax deduction can be carried forward over 3 years.

 

 

 

Q> When will I receive my tax receipt ?

 

R> For online donations and if you have correctly entered your e-mail address, you will receive your receipt within 15 days of your donation.


For mailings and donations by monthly transfer, tax receipts are issued once a year in December, in order to limit shipping costs.

 

 

 

Q> I lost my tax receipt. How to obtain a duplicate ?

 

A> You can obtain them, by simple request by e-mail or via the "Contact us " page, specifying the date and the amount of the shipment.

 

 

 

Q> I would like to donate clothing, school furniture, etc. Where should I go ?

 

R> For in-kind donations, as explained in the section “Aid to the association” above, we are not able at the moment to ensure the logistics and the significant costs associated with this type of action. But we do not despair of growing up someday and thank you for your concern.

 

 

 

Q> What guarantees can we have of the proper use of a donation ?

 

R> Rigor and transparency are the main principles of the functioning and management of the association "ALEDD - Helping Children From Diagle".

With us, overheads are reduced to the strict minimum - bank and courier fees - and we do everything to limit them to 3%.

In addition, unnecessary expenses are prohibited for us in view of the annual budget available; no travel funded by association funds - these are made only with the personal and individual means of each, no reimbursement of expenses and of course, no employees.
