School
supplies

The DIAGLE school welcomes around 300 primary students from all around the village.

​

Like all schools, back to school requires students and their families a number of school supplies which represents a significant budget at this time of the year, especially in rural areas since the main source of income is related to agriculture .

The school canteen

 

Among the 330 or so pupils that the school welcomes, some of them live far from it and returning to its village at noon is not easy.

 

The school canteen makes it possible to guarantee everyone the midday meal so that the teaching of the teachers is given in the best conditions.

The rural high school

Creation of a high school of 10 classes and an administrative block for the municipality to welcome students who have successfully completed their aptitude certificate at the primary school in Diaglé.

 

This project is divided into 5 phases and ALEDD has just launched the third in Nov 2019

The Health Center

ALEDD would like to build a new dispensary to meet the needs of a village like Diaglé, with a consultation room, a pharmacy, a waiting room, a working room, a delivery room and finally a rest room.

 

The budget for this project exceeds the annual means of the association.

The school
library

Construction of a small library for the primary school at Diaglé, Senegal.

 

To date, several teachers in France have offered us books. Even if to date, we carry a little on each trip, this project would send a container of books at once.

Wells for
the village

Access to drinking water is a daily challenge for these rural villages,

 

Ambitious project to dig several new drinking water wells at an average depth, located in strategic places of the village so that all the villagers have access to this essential resource.
